I haven't seen this kit with 70s badges, so perhaps the bass drum stick saver hoops were swapped to replace wooden ones, which would make the kit a modern jazz outfit. Either way, the current hoops work with modern bass drum pedals. Would also be very easy to add wood hoops and claws.
